“I first tasted Russell Syrah at the Farmhouse Inn, which is in Sonoma County, CA. My wife and I liked it so much that I ordered more from Russell’s website to drink at home with my son, who is a CIA trained chef who lives in NYC. We all loved it and we are not big Syrah drinkers. It’s a subtle Syrah, well-balanced with just the right amount of fruit, tannins, and structure, with a great finish and not a lot of alcohol. It is a fantastic Syrah at a great value.
