Introducing Russell Ranch Syrah. Nestled in the bench hills of the Russian River, our ranch wakes and sleeps to a blanket of fog and and the wild coyote. Our vineyard is just two acres and sits on a hilltop in the middle of the 208-acre ranch with steep oak, madrone, and manzanita covered hills. A creek flows through our property in winter and the neighbor dairyman grazes his cows on open grass-covered slopes in the back of the ranch.

Our family owned and run vineyard s located off of scenic Westside Road, home to many wineries and vineyards along the west side of the Russian River.

Neighboring wineries along that road include: Hop Kiln, Rochioli, Arista, Thomas George Estates, Porter Creek, Gary Farell, and Moshin, where the wine was produced.

. Deer, foxes, bobcats, coyotes, quail, wild pigs, and turkeys live (mostly) outside the vineyard. My wife and I raise dwarf goats and miniature horses as pets. Jake, a border collie, is a retired sheep dog who keeps the goats away from the roses.
